Does anyone know if there are any cloth donation boxes around the downtown?

There used to be one in the ACME parking lot, but now it's not there anymore. The one in the Exxon gas station on 14th & Marin is also gone.

There are couple of donation boxes behind speedway gas station off Marin and 15th Just as you enter the Newport plaza parking lot. They are new (maintained by PSOA) and I dropped stuff 2 weeks back

AFAIK there are still clothing drop offs behind the St Lucy's shelter on 16th St & Grove St.

Also for whoever keeps dumping their crap by the old Salvation Army on Erie St & 14th St: SALVATION ARMY IS CLOSED PERMANENTLY For real that area has become a strange dumping ground for people that can't figure out that Salvation Army is gone.

I’ve seen a van in the LSP park and ride that’s just parked that with a drop slot for cloths. No idea if it’s collected.

Those boxes are sent to Africa after being sorted where Africans buy those clothes. It's a big business. I have not found anywhere but the Salvation Army and they burned down. There are some prom dress projects, a place downtown for women run by the Catholics to help them get on their feet. There is a Dress for Work program.. I think your councilman would know. Call Solomons office.

Just spotted 2 more PSOA managed clothing donation boxes in ShopRite parking lot. North east end. Lookout for boxes painted in black with blue ink writing

I usually go to St Mary’s advocates in Hoboken. They have funky hours but otherwise very easy
