I live in the Paulus Hook / Exchange Place area and for like the past month I’ve heard a high pitched whine / ringing sound. It appears to be constant. Seems loud maybe near the post office. Anyone have any idea what the source of the noise is? I want to track it down and get the emitter to stop. I can hear it when I’m trying to sleep!

No but this happened to me last year and it was the reaturants like heating system.

I don’t think that’s it. It’s louder away from the light rail. Like towards the post office.

not lightrail. Railroad. i hear it all over JSQ. i live in Mcginnley Square and you can hear it here as well. Depends on time. Weight of trains. Weather etc etc. You will get used to it.
