I took this last week when i car broke down....it was awesome to ride again...brought few old memories back...but kids were sitting on top near the windows with shoes on seat ...in that middle row...yikess

I thought i was the only one who finds this comforting…Also waiting for the light rail late at night during a late summer weekday when its a bit windy🤌🏽

The one time it happened to me I felt like I was in a horror movie.

Everyone else left at the Newport stop. I didn’t even realize it until the train went up the bridge toward Hoboken Terminal. I looked both ways. Just me, the conductor, the train, and the 10 mph winds.

Totally didn’t expect it on a weekday night. Got to my NJ Transit train 4 min later and it left on time 3 min later. Perfect timing. Google Maps said I couldn’t make it in time. I knew I can make it in time by looking at the arrival ETA inferred from signals system from my origin station. A nice “local” feeling.

Sit all the way in the back so you don’t need to watch your six.

Maybe this is a me thing but the interior paneling of the light rail feels super cheap. It makes me feel like I am riding a fisher price vehicle.
