Just take the bus. There’s no efficient way to get to a path station from the heights.

Depending where you are in the Heights and your physical abilities, it can be very walkable. I'm a 20 minute walk from Journal Square PATH and like 25 from Hoboken. Beats waiting for the unreliable light rail for sure.

I don’t live that close to them but I think even if I did I would still rather take the bus most of the year for several reasons.

A lot of people have bus phobia. I used to take the jitney from Hutton to JSQ. It'd be like 8 minutes. If it was nice out I'd skateboard down hill but never the reverse.

EDIT: bus phobia or an aversion to bus travel.

Bus phobia?

I think a lot of people are afraid to use the bus, look down on bus use, or have just never thought to use it in their rotation.

That’s not a phobia that’s just people being stuck up assholes.

I get extremely motion sick on the bus, especially the ones going into the tunnel with all the start and stop motion. Would pick LR to Hoboken path over the bus any day.
