Now that I have your attention: I was at the Weehawken Whole Foods the other day and I wanted to give people a heads up that I happened to look at my receipt after checking out and noticed that every item sold by weight was charged at a significantly higher weight than the items actually were. In some cases, it was over 50% more than the actual weight of the item. Definitely try to weigh one or two items before checking out at any grocery store so that you can have a reference for whether or not your items are being charged correctly.
When I brought the issue to the attention of the manager, they ended up refunding me for the cost of all the items sold by weight and said there was something wrong with the register’s scale.

That's wild. You should report it to the state of NJ, I'm sure they'd be liable for some hefty fine.
