Sojo Spa in Edgewater. It's super popular and busy. When I used to work in the area people would always tell me how great it is.

Sojo is worth going to use the facilities but I wouldn't go for a treatment.

Evolve Med Spa does diamondglow facials which are basically the same thing (from what I understand).

Evolve all the way. Fantastic people who do a great job. Not crazy priced either

I heard a rumor from another Heyday location that there would be a Heyday coming to J.C...but haven't seen anything certain yet.

There are a few spas in the JC downtown area I've heard good things about and are consistent with their online reviews.

I don’t exactly see the displacement of inhabitants.

They’re already displaced.

I grew up in jersey city and downtown used to be the hood. The brownstones used to house lower income families. Tons of people were priced out of downtown.

I wish being born, raised, and still here 36 years later made me exempt to bad skin?

Lol, this was my thought as well! If anything, people who live in areas with more air pollution (such as an urban area) are likely to see the benefit of putting more effort into skincare.
