We have this this thing called cameras, so when someone with a real plate runs insurance can hunt them down (which has also happened to me and thankfully they were able to track them down).

Not always. Sometimes the real plate is from a stolen vehicle so you’re really not tracking the right person who should be held accountable. Which, has happened to my parked car & many others on my street. Also, depending on who it may be, sometimes cops abandon a situation. Which has also happened before. “Ranting” on Reddit won’t solve that. But I received my answer to my question, so I do appreciate the time.
