Hi,

So does anyone know of a good place to get your feet properly measured and have a large selection of sneakers?

Or does anyone have experienced stores that use programs that measure your walk/gait? How was it?

Too long just bought cheap sneakers and that is not a good thing for my funny feet.

I have small feet but they are wide up front and have high arches. Which has led to plantar fascitis and hammer toes:(

Merci!

Fleet feet in Hoboken is great if you want someone who knows their stuff. There’s also obviously footlocker but you’re not getting much depth there. Never been but you also have the shoe shop downtown on that triangle property where barrow st meets the pedestrian plaza.

Any specific brand you looking for?

Besides Foot Locker, I usually go to Kicsclusive in the mall or Magic Sneaker in Journal Square

For my feet was told to look for round toe box so my feet don’t get smushed or rub together. Soft mesh upper and good arch support.

Some of the models I was told to try out Hoka Bondi, Brooks Ghost, New Balance(those grey ones that lots of Dads and Grand parents rock lol) and a brand called Topo... I forget the others that am suppose to look out for.

Road runner sports in Paramus is another place that does gait analysis. Good to take note of what brands are good for you. Like Brooks and Asics have great stability shoes and roomy toe boxes. You could also consider shoe inserts to support your needs (like superfeet)
