This subreddits hate boner for this woman had gone out of control. Comments like this are absolutely unhinged. If you want to criticize her for a hit and run that’s fine but commenting on her age and appearance is extremely low rent.

Yes this! Who works for her? Make appointments now -- gym, plastic surgeon, dermatologist, dentist. Even a makeup artist or photo editor would help.

I think the comments are just pointing out the fact that she doesn't look to be in good health for 37. It's totally possible that she has underlying medical conditions, but this is also the look that an incredibly unhealthy lifestyle causes. It's not even the aging, look how swollen and red her hand is. That's a medical problem, regardless of age.

I think most people are targeting her (supposedly) extreme aging in connection with a suspected drinking and/or drug problem, by far the most probable explanation for her behavior from the hit-and-run although she has explicitly denied it.

...Some comments are simply being sexist, I guess, but that's hardly the thrust.

I think she smoked cigarettes so that is probably part of it (if she did).

Low rent? She's a public official she could at least look like she wants to act the part. She deserves it and her people should tell her how bad she looks She's low rent.
