Hi.

I have updated my iPhone to 16.3 and now can’t open it. All swipe gestures to start to key in the passcode are ignored. If I press the power button longer I do get the screen to turn off the iPhone, but again, cannot swipe to actually do it.

Has anyone experienced something similar and has an idea how to solve this ?

you're holding volume up and power together then. you need to do it as I said volume up once, release. Volume down, release. Power button hold until you see apple logo. don't press them together but one by one
