Could you explain it more clearly?

I don’t know why but when I pull the phone out of my pocket from time to time instead of showing the normal always on display with the clock , it’s showing the search screen and I have to unlock and re lock it a couple of times in order to behave correctly. I’ve also noticed if I have the control center open and lock the screen some times the always on display will be stuck on displaying action center ! Maybe I need to restore the factory settings….

I tried to reproduce it but couldn’t, if you can spare some time try talking with customer support or something. How old is your phone btw?

It’s almost 3 months old… And this issue started after the latest update… For the time being I will disable always on display and wait for the next iOS update…

This happened to my on 16.2. I was on a phone call, unlocked my phone, brought up search, search an app, went into the app, then back to home. Search was the stuck and I couldn’t get out. I restarted the phone and all good

I think something is really wrong with iOS 16 in general…
