Apple should provide iCloud storage equal to the size of the hard drive on my iPhone.

Dumb rant, but the “your iCloud storage is full” message I received this morning pushed me over the edge. I paid for the 512 gb of storage on my phone, match that with iCloud storage. Okay, please comment and tell me how dumb I am because everyone else has known for a decade that Apple sells incomplete products to increase their revenue. Have a nice day.

Cloud storage is a luxury, not a guarantee — it’s generous that we even get any for free.

Your iPhone came with the features that were listed at the time of the purchase.

your iPhone works just fine without using any iCloud storage at all. cloud storage is a separate product which costs money to run.

You’re dumb because you somehow expect Apple to give you cloud storage equivalent to the storage already on your phone without expecting reimbursement.

Do you also complain that your computer’s cloud storage of choice (if you use it) isn’t giving you free space equivalent to your computer’s hard drive?

It takes upkeep costs to keep online servers/storage to run in the first place. You're lucky if you get 5gb of free storage.

Bruh the Apple boot licking is really disturbing. I doubt you’d say that you’re lucky to get free Google cloud or Microsoft OneDrive storage. And even they’d give you 10GB. Paying $1000 for a phone and getting only 5GB is weak.

I surrender. I’m signing up for Apple storage. I still dislike that they continually messaged me about it, but seeing as Apple has not done the massive layoffs that other tech companies have done, I’m going to support their business.
