It did cancel your subscription. You won’t get charged again. To get a refund on this, wait a couple days for your Apple receipt to arrive in your email and tap ‘Report A Problem’. There’s an accidental purchase option there.

Didn't know i could request a refund on something from the app store or subscriptions. Great tip! Will try that in the future.

My two teen girls somehow bought two services like this. I did the “report” thing and they refunded it. I made sure it was locked down after that.
