I’ve had it done on my iPhone 7, around 3 years ago. But there is a huge risk that the oled panel (main display) may be damaged while separating the touch screen glass from the display assembly. The iPhone 7 is still working flawlessly. But I’ve had a tempered glass screen protector ever since on it.

They give 1 year warranty for they repairs. If they destroy something in the repair time they should put me brand new screen then.

The problem is I will never know did they put original glass or just 3rd party :/ You know, it could make colours weaker etc.

No no no don’t worry about that. I had already XS Max with pretty good(even repair point said that) LCD replaced screen and I will definitely know it’s not OG Oled screen. Btw I also service phones(for now Android only) at home since few years so I know many things about smartphones.
