Most people know to go ahead a restart.. I wouldn’t have come here if we hadn’t tried that already.

Try doing a forced/hard reset, not a software initiated one.

You’d be surprised. Working in IT professionally, if I got a dollar for every time I’ve asked someone “Have you restarted it to check if that solves your problem?”and got told “no” I’d be very wealthy now.
People often panic when tech isn’t working and immediately reach for the phone to call support before trying simple fixes first like checking enough storage is available or restarting the device. Some folk don’t even check if mains powered devices are plugged in and switched on.
