Send it to phone repair guru, maybe it’s a problem with the board that stops the battery from overcharging

yeah, it really sounds like something’s wrong with BMS, and off brand batteries are just not helping. Wireless charging does heat up the battery a lot more than usual as well, I wonder if that’s a factor here

Perhaps replacing it with an actual APPLE-MADE battery is the issue that should be considered.

I get what you are saying, but some “APPLE MADE” battery’s aren’t from Apple. You see, some batteries companies put a sticker on the battery so it looks original. People go out of their way to get one and they don’t know that it’s not an apple battery. You can even change the health of the battery if it’s damaged. So it’s better off buying a reliable 3 party battery than risk buying a battery that says it’s from Apple.

Yes I've replaced phone batteries at this place with several older phones without any problems. And I've always used nonapple batteries because it was cheaper and they have always worked perfectly fine until now.

I can’t afford apple to replace my battery for my phone and I don’t think they even have the battery for it anymore. So a 3rd party solution would be better and cheaper than apple. But if you’re giving to “Rando McRanderson” to reinstall the battery. You risk getting your phone damaged in general. I would recommend taking it to a professional repair shop or at least a reputable repair shop for this type of repair. The risk of damage is minimal and if something goes wrong with the phone after the repair was made and not there before, you can tell them about the problem and see if they did it. In OP’s case, he has to take it to a phone guru because I suspect his board is damaged and apple won’t do anything about it.

I’m willng to wager that OP would have saved money long-term with one Apple-done battery replacement than the multiple they’ve had.

Cost to replace a battery in a iPhone 11 at an Apple store with a genuine Apple batt was $69 .. don’t know how much you’re paying to replace with a aftermarket batt but im sure by now you would’ve paid less by just replacing with a Genuine Apple battery.. Not to mention you get a 1 year warranty with Apple 🤷

Yeah I'm just gonna go to Apple and get it replaced. I honestly thought it was way more expensive to get apple to replace it, but on their website it estimates $80 in my country. That's literally what I paid for the non-genuine apple repair. Am I missing some hidden costs?? I really thought it was like double the price

EDIT: My closest Apple Authorized Repair shop quotes $130 for an 11pro battery replacement. Whatevs. If there 1year warranty I can always come back if the fucker starts swelling again

No there are no hidden costs..I was surprised at the price actually being reasonable myself lol… I just got a battery replacement that was at 71% about a month ago .. They even replaced the batt with my glass back being cracked to hell and didn’t try to sell me a new back or anything
