I still miss 3D Touch, literally dozens of us that remember it at this point.

Worst part is when you need a flashlight, on the X you could just grab your phone and press the flash on your lockscreen with a little force and it would shine, on the newer iphones you have to hold it for a bit and it is very easy to misclick

This ^^ especially with the camera, I use my phone quite a lot at times during work, where I have to quickly take a photo and then shove my phone back into my pocket and then get it out of my pocket to take another photo again (and yes, I like to lock my screen after taking a single photo), and this goes on continuously for an hour or more, recently just switched from XS Max to 14 Pro Max and it seriously slowed my workflow, and just the overall lack of confidence when long pressing the camera icon from the Lock Screen to make it launch the camera, is just not a good feeling

I too miss 3D Touch, but it’s not needed to access your camera quickly from the Lock Screen - just swipe right.

Oh shoot, how could I forget that, the numerous times I’ve accidentally swiped right on the lock screen when I was using the XS Max, thanks for reminding me, I was just so used to 3D Touch

Yeah! Annoying. Also off topic I wish they’d get rid of FOCUS

Honestly, 3D Touch was a good part of why I held on to my 6s as long as I did. Really loved the feature; it’s simple to use, effective and its tactile-ness with the haptic feedback and “pop/push” or whatever the marketing term was, made it so pleasant to use.

It was nice but because no iPad supported it it never was used for anything substantial. I quickly stopped using it on my iPhone because it didn’t work on my iPad anyway and as soon as I got used to it I automatically tried using it on the iPad and it didn’t work there.
