Looking for an application to transfer/back up iPhone Photos to an External Hard Drive without a Computer.
Hey,

I am looking for application to Transfer/Backup iPhone Photos to External Hard Drive without Computer. I want once I plug the Hard Drive to my iPhone, I open an application and it syncs automatically my gallery photos to the Application (like the SanDisk ixpand application but without the SanDisk ixpand hardware).

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you don’t want to just use iCloud? Since this does everything you’re looking to do as far as back up, but without the hassle of ever having to remember to back up. Just does it automatically. It can then be accessed from any computer or device via the iCloud app or web interface

It is never a bad idea to back up.

I use 2TB iCloud, but I think it is a bad idea to rely only on one backup. So I want to have other options once things go wrong or bad.

Completely agree, I guess that’s where the computer comes in, but if you’re trying to not use one, that changes things

There used to be a Sandisk USB thumb drive that had both a USB connector on it and a lightning port connector on it that you can save directly onto it using their app from your photo library on your phone. I haven’t seen it in a while though.
