If you genuinely want a bigger display, you won’t enjoy anything smaller. I went from an 8 plus to a regular 11, and I never got used to the size. I’m so happy to have the large screen back with my 14 plus.
My mom has a 12 pro max, and it’s super smooth and snappy. She plans on keeping it until it completely craps out bc she loves it so much. It’s been over 2 years, and her 12 pro max still has lots of life in it. The reason she bought it was bc she had an 8 plus prior, then ordered the regular 12. However, she felt it was way too small once she used it. The 12 pro max was her only option at the time to get an iPhone similar to the 8 plus.
Your replied just made me take my decision. I've always had the feeling that the 6.1" size would be an issue for me and this confirms it, thank you a lot!
Go for the bigger display. I think the standard 6.1 iPhone is a great size, but it really never catched me, so I was switching back and forth between iPhones and Pixels.
Sadly my Pixel 7 (great device btw, feels so nice in the hand) has had issues with the fingerprint sensor and some other quirks so I decided: I should wait for the 8gen2 phones…. But I can’t stand it right now…firetruck it, I‘ll try with a iPhone again
So, the choices were limited: Pro Max 13, pm14 or 14plus.
Prices here in Germany s ridiculously high: 13pm is about 1300€ @ 128gb, PM14 more like 1500. 14 Plus is about 900€.
Sooooo… I really like the pro motion display and anybody saying „you can’t see the difference“ is a straight up liar, but the 60hz from the plus do look way smoother then androids 60hz (alltough to be fair, most of the devices with android don’t even have 60hz displays anymore) and the tele would be nice, but it was not worth it for me (realtalk: for 200 more then the 14+ I would have bought the 13PM, but prices are insane….)
What was worth it, was the size of the device. I really enjoy the big display. It is massive in my pocket tough, but I like the 6.7 way better than the 6.1
Btw, beware, the pro models (and that means also the pro max) are HEAVY. My pixel 7 was heavy (at the edge of being to heavy) for his size, the pro maxes are WAY heavier. You should really try them in person bevor buying
I’ve used the 13pro and went back to 12pro max for the screen size. And now after confirming that the 13 has better battery thanks to the updated processor and smoother display also mentioning the cameras and their additional features and at peace with my decision I’ll stick to 13p.
