I have my iPhone 14 Pro Max for like 14 days and I am noticing that sometimes, when I tap on something on the screen, it just won’t react on the touch, so I have to tap it second time. I was thinking that it’s maybe because I had iPhone Xs with smaller screen before, so my muscle memory is not calibrated on larger screen.

Does everyone experience this issue or is it just me? Thanks a lot!

I’m having the same issue. For me, the issue goes away when I turn off the always on display.

Yes , when trying to close a box marked x. Or tapping something, it just doesn’t work or app freezes.

So do you think it’s just a software issue?

I have a similar issue with the Lock Screen torch and camera icons and it’s throwing out my muscle memory from older phones. I’m needing to try to turn on the light twice because even though the screen is on the touch registration doesn’t seem to turn on for a while after. It’s very frustrating.
