Try Settings > Siri & Search, then disable “Suggestions on Lock Screen".
If (as the other commenter mentioned) it turns out U2 is playing in the official Music app from Apple instead of Spotify, and the above doesn’t work, add this track to your library: https://music.apple.com/us/album/a-a-a-a-a-very-good-song-silent-track/1268932999?i=1268933000
Edit: You could also delete the “Music” app entirely instead of adding the above song, if you plan to use Spotify exclusively

This was my first thought reading this post as well. iOS ALWAYS defaults to Apple Music for this sort of thing. Maybe OP can try uninstalling Apple Music. It might not mean Spotify will be the new automatic music app of choice but it'll stop this issue.

I had this issue - you just need to go to the Apple Music app and delete the U2 album. It took me so long to realise that they’d actually just made it really easy to delete, because I had heard all the horror stories of people who couldn’t delete it. But it’s easy now.

Dread it. Run from it. Bono arrives all the same.

Are you sure it isn’t the Music app that’s native to iOS?
There was a fiasco years ago where Apple gave everyone a U2 album for free.
