No idea. People who don’t know that electronics + water don’t mix well. Or people who can’t go 5 minutes without listening to music lol.

They’re obviously advertised as such, yes. Doesn’t mean your phone can’t be damaged by liquid or moisture. And soap isn’t good for your phone either.

Actually it does. My current phone I’m typing this on has been completely submerged several times. Other than the “water detected in charge port, wait to charge” warning, it’s perfectly fine….

Exactly while it should be okay, it doesn’t mean press your luck. My iPhone works more than fine outside the shower on full volume.
