They stated in their latest blog about the price increase-

> We will be making adjustments to our pricing on January 3, 2023 due to the current trajectory of rising prices across the globe. So, if you’ve been considering subscribing to Flexibits Premium, now is definitely the best time to get the most value for your money – and take advantage of all the extra features that Flexibits Premium provides in both Fantastical and Cardhop!

I don't think I will renew next year cause I don't think it is worth it for $40 let alone whatever the price will be next year. $20 though is a good deal

What do you guys think?

If you’re a business or self employed maybe, but for most people it’s not worth it over regular calendar.

That's some bullshit right there.

I bought Fantastacal a long time ago when it was a standalone purchase for each platform. I think I paid something like $5 for iPhone, $15 for iPad, and $50 for Mac. That's about 2 years of their current subscription price.

The subscription is not worth it for me because I still have all the features I originally paid for and there are no additional features I need. Adding in another type of video call support or support for some third party calendar service I've never heard of has no value to me.

In comparison to $40, yes.

Agreed.

I wish I got that.

I like the user experience more than other calendaring apps.

The real reason I purchased it was that it included a feature I was already paying for elsewhere, Openings. I was paying at least $11 a month for calendly and so fantastical was an easy choice.

Yeah, openings works well and I’m thinking about it cause next year I’ll be applying for jobs and figured sending over an openings invite would be easier to tell recruiters/HR managers my availability than to manually type it out.

Idk if $20 is worth it or if I should just wait but who knows what the price will be then.
