I’ve never had a device shipped by Apple left without a signature. Certain carriers provide releases on their tracking sites that you can leave on the door in lieu of.

In the order status page of my order at Apple was a link to a PDF to print and pre-sign for delivery. I signed that and the UPS driver took the form and left the phone.

They just dropped mine off. Fortunately they put it in the box I have on the porch for packages instead of leaving it out in plain view for the porch pirates to plunder.

Not sure, it seems I saw signature required on the UPS tracking, but our UPS guy didn't ask for one and just left it on our front door. lol.

FedEx told me a signature was required online and when the driver showed up to my house, he handed me the phone without identifying me or anything. It was actually under my mothers name too. I asked if he needed a signature and he said no. The phone could’ve easily been handed to another residence and there would’ve been no proof or anything.
