The main issue I had was it was showing up with background activity on my phone. It never showed up before but after 16.1, it would sit in the list of apps showing battery usage. I've deleted the app as I never used it.

That’s because it’s syncing in the background, email apps do this. Before iOS 16 I always had to manually do it but I’ve noticed no battery difference at all.

Why would it be syncing if I don't use the app at all? I don't even have anything logged into he app.

Ah yep, sorry didn’t catch that part. It would only sync if you’ve signed into it. It has to be doing something else in the background then. Apple updated the app with iOS 16 so maybe something to do with that.
