For soccer, FotMob works perfectly with live activities too 👍

I also love this! These guys continue to innovate! I love the fact they let you use the app on the Mac, etc. such a handy little app so many years later!

I don’t personally understand people’s appeal in sports, but if that is something others seek out then that is nice! I personally won’t use it for sports but it certainly sounds like a nice feature for those who do as it’s super convenient.

Random story just because: Had a store employee recommend getting a 14 Pro line phone (was getting one anyway through Apple) solely based on being able to see sports scores which his kinda weird when someone just assumes everyone likes sports. Like not “it can do multiple things, like also show sports scores!”, it was like the go-to feature the person mentioned and nothing else. Though it probably was their own excitement there for said feature!

It's really nice for sport enthusiasts, you directly have the resume of the match you're following on the locked screen, no need to unlock etc, quick ,simple, easy

And the dynamic island showing the score in every apps... god send

How will this work? Does the sports app we install have to have this feature? I’ve never used anything besides a 3rd party sports app to get game scores.

How do you select a game to get you love scores on your Lock Screen? I’m not seeing it. This sounds awesome!

Go to the game on the app and I think up to 6-7 hours before the start of the game you can click the 3 dots in the upper right and click start live activity. I used it for NFL so far. Right now none of the noon college football games have the live activity shown hmm..

So I have the sports alerts app… I still don’t have the option under the three dots on a live game for live activities. I’ve deleted and redownloaded. Any help with this?

Well that sucks as NCAA-F is 90% of what I follow lol… thanks for the response. Hopefully it’ll come with a later update 🤷🏻‍♂️ I love this app.

Just to let you know, I reached out to the developers before posting here (less than 2 hours ago) and just got the below response:

Hi,

Currently the app only supports Live Activities for MLB, NFL, NBA & NHL. We’re working on adding support for NCAA football & basketball, and hope to have it ready within a couple of weeks.

Regards, Jeff

I didn’t expect a response at all let alone that quick. So, shows they know about it and hopefully will have it added before playoffs and championship.

As an update, there is a NHL, NFL, and Premier League game today. Within the next 6 hours there is only the NFL and Premier League game, but only the NFL game gets the live activity. WTF!?
