85 Decibels doesn't seem that loud to me.

Yep. Hearing was perfectly fine, and my music has been exactly the same for years. These headphones requires almost full volume in order to kinds hear it over voices in person.
I’ve put on some headphones that can be on one volume up and be as loud, so it is strange haha

Must be the headphones. 70db is loudish traffic noise so you shouldn't hear your footsteps over it.

Hey.. I think they may have software issues if you are on 16/16.1. My music habits have not changed and I constantly get decibel warnings after updating to 16. Hoping 16.2 addresses this.

I think those numbers are accurate only with Apple headphones.

Go to Bluetooth settings, change device type to speaker. Et voila.

Nope. Different headphones have different volumes at the same power levels
