Apple vs Samsung most often, Android vs iOS. Why android users hate iPhone so much? I was an Android user until I got my first iPhone in January this year. I was always interested in using one, and I always used Samsung flagships, last one being S21 Ultra.

Now I can't stand reading comments from Android users saying iPhones are bad they're this they're that, u can't customize, S23 Ultra has a pen and it has a Dex. What's the point, most of them never even used a newer iPhone? Only thing S23U is actually "better" is zoom, 10x and 30x. The rest is just a preference/need and nothing else. Why Samsung users have this huge inferiority complex? They always act like they're step above you in life/cooler/smarter if they use Android. I used android and I literally didn't feel any big change coming to iOS, I even like it more, even the best Samsung at the time had glitches, bugs and lags in the UI.

Theres a lot more Id add but….yeah. If anyone wants to discuss on this topic I'll gladly read y'all comments.

I dunno tbh, people fight about stupid things. Lots of my friends have iPhones, lots have android phones. It’s not something we ever really talk about because most of them aren’t into tech like I am. Even if they were it’d certainly be a preference thing, not something to fight about lmao.

No clue, really. Some fanboys are so defensive, and it sure can be annoying.

I am an iPhone user since I am in the Apple ecosystem, but I would never dismiss the fact that Android devices can be better devices for many people.

It’s brand loyalty issues most fan boys have . They need to reassure themselves that what phone there using / ecosystem is the best . I will never understand SMH .

“Androids suck”

“Iphones are for elite wanna b’s”

Sounds like all internet garbage. In 20 years ive never heard or mentioned this to anyone in my circle. A phone is a phone, especially with how good both companies have become. I have an iphone but ise a few google apps like gmail, keep and chrome.

I think it's human nature to want to take sides and feel like part of a team. I'm a tech person so I have devices and gadgets from all brands. My primary phone is an iPhone and my primary laptop is a Chromebook. Google apps work well on Apple devices. The problem is that Apple apps do not play nice with Google (Facetime, iMessage, etc.). Apple does this intentionally as a way to sell more iPhones, and that is likely why many Android users dislike Apple.

I have and use both platforms. I don't care if people want to debate pluses and minuses of either. What gets to me though is when they just throw out "apple sheep" as if it's a self-evident truth.

Fortunately, in real life, no one I know gets emotional over which phone to use.

People will be people. But yeah, I don't understand why anti-iPhone online comments seem so angry. It's not enough to just say "this is why", it reliably involves insulting iPhone users and Apple.

" Why android users hate iPhone so much? " - personal insecurities and complexes.

" Only thing S23U is actually "better" is zoom, 10x and 30x " - fixed multi lens array actually, not a real zoom. Xperia 1 IV has 85-125 f/2.3-2.8 zoom. And a couple of Asus phones.
I have both, but don't care what phones people use.

A lot of my experience, and the experience of certain online creators is that Apple create the idea that their devices are "premium" and Android is more or less for "peasants".

My teenage daughter was incessantly berated for having an Android (specifically Samsung in this case) by her iPhone wielding peer group. Even at work when I brought up the idea of moving to iPhone after 13 years on Android, it was the Apple users telling me how wrong I was for "waiting so long" and now I would finally "understand how amazing Apple is".

I am aware that in the USA where WhatsApp is not used as much, Apple make text messages from Android phones painful to read which causes a lot of tension between the groups.

I'm not saying that it doesn't work the other way round, just that there is precedent. Now that I'm using an iPhone I really don't get the fervor around them. A phone is a phone at the end of the day and I don't really care.

But there are no innocent sides in fan wars.

Just like Chevy and Ford with gear heads. It doesn’t really matter to most people what you use, but there will be jokes from insecure people who use something else.

I'm also using both and both have their pluses and minuses. It's not a matter of which is better than the other, more of which OS you prefer to use.

I am team iPhone but I always give mad respect to Team Android… I say whatever your preference, whichever smartphone works best for you, you go rock that thing!

you obviously haven't been on iphone subs where they shit on android a lot lol. Look everyone is going to say things are better here or better there. Having used both, mostly recently the s21 ultra and now the 14PM. There are differences between the two of course, android does some things better in my opinion but others iphone does better. I switched because it was easier for me to send pics to my family and sharing things in general. I miss the customization at times from android but I think for me the sticking thing is that iphone always tries to say they are innovative and NEW at this and that, when the fact is its been done before and android has had it for years. I'm actually glad iphone is moving to doing the things that android has had for years to be honest, its about time. But at the end of the day it's a phone and it's a preference.

I despised iphones and pretty much was one of the fanboys back then because of the toxicity of some sheeps and my last experience of Iphone X (though i never actually owned one just used them for like a week) And yeah I've changed a lot and gotten interested on them again (planning to buy the 15 though) and seeing again this kind of argument realizing that it is very much pointless like who cares man, as long as it can do something for you it's all good.

I find iPhone users (even though I am one) to have more of a “Im better then you, more elite then you” attitude then android users. But not really about the phone their whole persona is because they have an iPhone 🙄 like I just like iMessage.

When I got my first iPad in college, I got it so my iPhone 4s could share everything faster so when I was on break at work I could still manage to study. My brother made some off handed remarks about me buying a second Apple product and basically called me an Apple sheep. He now has a new iPhone, an iPad Pro, an Apple Watch…… guess that makes me the Apple shepherd

Don’t forget the blue messages for iPhone the green on Android. I find it funny although I do make light of it.

A phone is a phone at the end of the day. People are going to use what’s familiar to them and what they prefer. Yeah I admit I got into those little debates and used to think iPhone users were all “sheeple”. That was when I was a little younger. Now I use what’s convenient for me. I don’t use an iPhone as a status symbol. I use it for work and school (software development courses online) and I own a MacBook for my studies. I laugh now when people call either side fanboys, sheep etc. All nonsense

No clue either. I run an iphone 12 on my main sim and run a pixel 6a with my other sim. I love and hate things from both platforms. Never stay loyal to any brand. If something in the future fits my needs better, I'll jump ship.

WARNING, everyone can use whatever they want, this is just my opinion, and you can ignore it.

  1. Apple literally controlls how you use your iphone, it is not your choice.
  2. Once you use an iphone, it instantly appeals to you, because it is satisfyong to use, therefore manipulative
  3. A feature where you can actually own your phone OS- where is it? I am using an iphone because my nexus 6 from 2014 fell and cracked the screen. And i am feeling controlled compared to when i was using android. I wish to go back as fast as I can, though before that, even after using a 7+ for about a year- it is as convenient as android, with the added bonus of not only data collection, but fully closed control of how you use your phone.

I never felt controlled, or limited by iOS, I am able to do everything I was able to do on Samsung, some stuff even easier/better, only thing I really miss is a back gesture from the left side but i got used to that too really quickly. Using shortcuts on iOS really helped a lot and made my workflow faster. I must also say that iOS being closed and “limited” in features and options you have made it much more reliable for me 💯. This is just my experience with owning my first iPhone.
