I brought it to an Apple Store and they used a device that tells them whether or not they can turn it back on. They said it got no response and said there’s nothing they can do. I’m wondering if there’s any last resort options anyone has tried. I have a lot of storage I can’t recover as I only had the 5gb cloud storage option. Anything helps

As a last ditch effort try doing a hard reboot/reset of the phone. It won’t erase your data and it has saved me a couple times when I thought for sure my phone had died. Black, unresponsive, no reaction to anything.
I’ve pointed a couple of people towards this with symptoms identical to yours and it saved it. You may have to hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds during the last step.

If possible try two different stores when doing so

iPhone 12 pro died and Apple asked to replace the phone for some cash. Took it to the local repair shop and he diagnosed the problem to be with charging IC and charged around 10k rupees.

Definitely take it to a local phone repair tell them what u told us and just see what the response is and I’m willing to bet rime to a dollar, ur phone probably needs either a new battery or it could maybe be a connection issue on the motherboard.
