So i recently bought iphone 13 and i am disappointed with the battery life as of now. I was expecting a SOT of 6-7 hours but with my daily usage i only get around 4-4.5 hours with 5g and watch connected 24/7 apart from this i am using every battery saving tips. So unless i am not using low power mode i am unable to get a day’s battery. So is it safe to use it all the time?

Let me guess, you’re using your phone mainly for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. These apps will kill your battery life. As far as always using Low Power Mode, you lose features and functionality.
Here is an article that will tell you more.

No i am not using any of the apps mentioned above more than 10-15 mins per day. The only app which shows this behaviour is twitter i don’t know why twitter is using around 30% according to battery info on iphone even when i am only using it for like 45mins.

Dude how...are you playing games all the time? I get 8-11 hours SOT on my 13 pro. I admit that 30% of that time is spent on watching videos and most of it is on wifi, but still the difference is huge. Maybe 5G is the issue.

Any social media apps will kill your battery so add Twitter and Facebook to the list.

Have you tried reinstalling it or clearing the cache? I don't use Twitter but I remember reading a while ago that unlike other apps there is a lot of content that loads at once when you use it/open it and stays in ram while also using cpu power, even if you're not accessing said content .

I will try reinstalling it and hope it will fix the issue.

Also, 5G destroys battery life throughout the day.

You can use it all the time. My phone lives in low power. An iPhone 13 in low power is similar to an iPhone X with full performance.
For battery life, 5G eats power, so does background app refresh as well as location services.
