I once met this top branding guy, and he called it the "Nike mistake". That is, companies which try branding by symbol because it's so cool, but that only works if you are as big as Nike and their history and marketing budget.

Yes it is steep but then it fits the contours of the watch casing, I got it because the alpine loop can mark the titanium casing of the ultra. I paid a lot for the watch so figured id look after it with something decent
