Very informative thank you very much for the info, I will search the sub for android. I would agree with the lifespan of android phones. I have gotten new android phones every 2 to 3 years sometimes every year, very frustrating. Thank you!

Well, in all fairness, many iPhone users upgrade after 2-3 years. It’s generally not because they need to upgrade, though. Some just want the newer features, while others just seem to want a new battery (this is weird, as Apple’s prices for a replacement battery is a lot less than a new phone).

Yeah that's fair its like getting a new car every 2 or 3 years. I have always gotten a new phone because the one I was using was failing. I dont know if that's a result of buying budget phones my whole life. Since I've been with Samsung and other android phones mh whole life I'd like something different. The only phone that could get me to stay with Samsung is the s22 as its a smaller phone. Otherwise I would be looking to get the iPhone 13mini
