“Defect” on a brand new iPhone

Hello. I just bought the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 1h later the store (FNAC) in Portugal didn’t accepted the phone back. I noticed that when unfolding the white paper that it has protecting the screen a spot totally different that seems a bit rusty. My question is, does it “interfere” or it will do something bad in the future to the iPhone?

Didn’t purchased Apple care since we don’t have Apple stores here in Portugal.
