Screw iCloud they want money. I personally have a hard drive where I unload all pic and movies then erase everything in phone.

There’s always ways to recover but I get most of my pics printed anyway and movies are burned to blue rays so the family can watch them. What’s the point of saving them if you not gonna use them.

I have zero Trust. I back up all photos to iCloud, Google Photos, Adobe Lightroom, OneDrive, internal SSD and an external SSD.

I’m not saying it doesn’t but I prefer having my personal pic and videos stored on a device that I have control over.
