Why are there Anglican crosses in Roman Catholic churches? Went to a funeral mass in a Roman Catholic church today. I noticed plaques running along the top of the walls with Anglican crosses and was curious.

Are you talking about a Canterbury cross specifically? Because if so, yes, that's strange. I think it's more likely that it's just another similar cross (Cross of St Cuthbert perhaps?). There are a lot of them out there. Rather than specifically the symbol of the Anglican Communion.
