They sound great with my dragonfly cobalt and ifi go bar.
Imagine wasting 250€ on a thumb drive DAC.
YIKES
Nonsense.
Oh look, a copy paster. I have my own ears and trust them, I don’t need measurements that others make for people that doubt it all.
"I trust my ears"
:)
The paradox is: the more you measure the less you enjoy.
I don't measure anything tho?
I just inform myself before wasting money and poorly performing products :)
Got mine from b&h recently. The new ones have a shorter cable terminated in 3,5mm jack and comes with a quarter inch adapter. Also the headband is now made of a cloth type material.
Like someone already mentioned, the main difference seems to be the cable and adapter it comes with. I also got the refurbished ones around October and it came with the 3.5mm cable and 6.3mm adapter. I think the earpads might be different as well but I have no idea since I don’t have the “early” version to compare.

Probably the adapter. Idk but they sound amazing for the price and I own lcd-x hd660s and 650 And I can’t believe this sound so good. They do need a good dac amp to really shine tho. But damn is the clarity good on these. Really special ones.
