I would second that you can get used to it. It used to be an absolute deal breaker for IEMs with me, and even though I still find over ears more comfortable, the plugged ear effect doesn’t bother me nearly as much as it used to. I would think if you have mic monitoring enabled that should help rather than hurt, it provides that feedback of your voice that you’re missing.

I'm going to give it an honest try at getting used to it and not jump the gun. I do have mic monitoring on and it certainly helps but the vibration of my voice is quite strong as well. I'd say they're about almost equal in terms of volume level and that leads it into this weird thing of the voice mirror and vibration in my ears to compete.
