So I got the HD650 for Christmas and got to try it out on my dad's amp that he uses for records. Never heard something more clear in my life. So here's me almost a month later, using my PC's headphone jack and it sounds nowhere near as good.

After a bunch of looking around for DAC/AMP combos I settled on the Fiio K7 Pro as it had several features I loved (fibre optical cable for my PS4, RCA to use my speakers at home and shamefully RGB).

Been listening to a bunch of FLAC files and it sounds fantastic so far. It's been a bit tricky reading technical specs and understanding sensitivity and impedance. I figured I'd get a second opinion on my purchase from Reddit, hear if I'm stupid for falling for marketing BS or if I actually made a decent purchase.

I also have the K7 (there isn't a Pro), and also think it's a remarkable DAC/AMP, especially for the price.

I'm using the balanced output, and don't have any desire to swap it out with anything .... so far. :)
