As an avid fan of moondrop from owning an Aria, Quarks and Sparks I adore the different colors of Sparks but I misplaced / lost my charging case and I own a pink one so I'm kinda stuck with just staring at my pair and not being able to use them.

If you own a sparks wouldn't you love moondrop to re-release purple and pink variants in the future? Let's start a conversation below.

I don't see why the case itself needs to be a different colour. I can understand wanting the iems themselves to be a certain colour.

There are several reasons why getting a replacement case won't necessarily solve the issue. One of the possible reasons are the cases and the earbuds has been factory set to exclusively communicate with each other and not other units. I don't know if this is the same for Moondrop, but this is how it works for Sony's TWS. Sony though will still provide helpful support and solutions. If you ever lost the case, you'd have to mail your earbuds back to sony or physically go to their service center so they can pair a new case with your earbuds.

If you get a whole new pair, and if the old ones charge properly with the new case, then you can still use both sets. Judt use one until it needs charging, switch to the 2nd pair and drop the first pair in the case.

Interesting. My experience with TWS has shown that the pairing is a function of the case and not the buds so I feel its best to be cautious unless you know the answer.

I was merely suggesting that OP does not base their buying decision on a chance of old buds working with new case.
