In an ideal world you wouldn’t keep them at full charge when not in use. Lithium doesent like to be stored at full charge

yeah that's my question, everyone uses their earbuds/airpods and then immediately after, you put them in the case because that's the best way to not lose them/break them. But then the case automatically charges them to 100%. Isn't this a problem?

To some degree yes, if you’re gonna not use them for a while then even more so. I tend to expect 2 years tops then I’m not disappointed

Fiio utws5 earhooks have a setting to preserve battery life. This sets the max charge to 85%.
