Honestly the Airpods Max is a really good Bluetooth headphone that pairs excellently with Apple Ecosystem stuff so if that's you, then the Airpods Max is perfect but if you're a non Apple Ecosystem person then the Apple Airpods Max is bottlenecked by its lack of other Bluetooth codecs. Mostly the high bitrate codecs...
So my recommends are the: Mark Levinson 5909 or the Focal Bathys
But note that the Airpod Max still beats them when it comes to the non sonic stuff like ANC and Ambient mode.

thank you bro i see alot of people shitting on the airpod maxes and apple earphones in general so when I got into this space i thought i would have to replace them

Lol then you're in the wrong audiophile circles... An actually audiophile knows the Airpod Max and especially the new Airpod Pros (2nd Generation) are tonally more accurate than some headphones/TWS that are in the same price bracket. And have class leading transparency mode....
And I don't even call myself an Apple person

So far I like them, but have to use them for a little longer to make sure. Just curious what other people think about them. I know that I probably would be better off with the Q30's especially when they are discounted ( I actually bought the Q30's for a gift when they were discounted but when I wanted to get them they were only sold for the full price, but the Q45's were discounted so I decided to get them instead).

Definitely worth it for the price

I tested them for a while before returning them.
I like the studier build, the proper depth in the earcups, and the software features they added/improved. The worst parts about the q45 are the lack of headband padding and the lack of earcup swivel.
Sound-wise, I'd categorize them as sounding cold/unnatural. A bit of a tricky one to EQ since there are a lot of narrow peaks/dips. IMO, if you're using the app EQ I wouldn't touch the bands over 800 Hz.
For the price and brand, I like Soundcore because they punch above their price and they're lenient with the warranty. Though there is a privacy concern with Anker and Eufy.
The q45 is a good purchase, though you might want to buy a headband cushion and experiment with some EQ if you're not happy with the sound.

The headband doesn't bother me, but the fact that the earpads are glued is frustrating. I found some decent eq settings on the internet and so far I am happy with the sound.

For the price you pay, it’s a great deal

Soundcore is a good budget offering... A little EQ tampering and you have a really decent ANC competitor on your hands
