I use a dedicated DAP but if I used my phone (which has a headphone jack) or my laptop (also has a jack) and I have to use this USB-C thing then, what, I can't charge and listen at the same time? Another issue is the cable has to be fixed because the DSP is contained in the USB-C part of it.

Idk. I'm not the target audience but I just think it's dumb. How about tune the IEM better instead of just throwing what is essentially a brute-force solution at it?
