Hey r/headphones! I recently impulse purchased the ESP95X since I wanna have a taste of electrostats and have a hole to burn. However, it wasn't until after the purchase when I realized that electrostats are very much sensitive to dust. I'm thinking of getting a large microfiber cloth to cover them up while I leave them be, or get an air purifier to get rid of the dust in my room. Have any of you guys tried these methods?

A microfiber cloth probably isn't the best idea, it can trap and release dust. You're better off just buying the stax headphone cover. It's like 20 bucks and keeps your headphones nice and dust free without being too inconvenient
