my lord, I don't strongly believe in differences between cables or sources. Idk what you're referencing on "source memes", but for the cable, I just said I heard treble region differences with specific iems and specific cables for them. I was curious one day and tried to switch my cables between my cheaper and more expensive iem, just to see if there was any difference, and I heard a more piercing treble spike when I used a different cable with the same iem. That's just my own ears or brain, not an objective scientific statement.
