Sharur dislikes Crinacle, and I don't agree with his opinions, but they are willing to listen about criticism of his community. I respect Crinacle, but I don't respect his toxic community and mods.

So you simply prefer communities that validate your opinions and past actions? Because your time spent in crinacle's server was spent trying to get people to agree with and/or validate your opinions, as your statements were objectively wrong, the mods put you in their place as per the rules. Moderating according to the rules you AGREE with when you first enter the server is toxic to you?

You could share measurements and graphs, and those can be reliable, but everyone gets different measurements. Also, you have to trust that the person correctly modded and measured the product. Even the people who are best at measuring make mistakes on measurements, both crinacle and oratory had issues in the past. I would still trust their measurements, but in this one case, oratory was the only measurement I saw and he admitted he didn't fully remove an adhesive material that was impacting the tuning. When I asked him about this, he admitted that if he was able to fully remove it, it would have changed the sound to some degree but he didn't get that far. I could see how this amount of effort turns off many people, but some people are willing to put in work for something if they're saving money.

Is it really hard for people not to assume things? I'm not a Sharur fan, I was a member of the server purely for entertatinment. In fact I never agreed with them about their views on Crin. After my experience, I thought they would appreciate hearing about my experience but they didn't. People just don't care to hear out someone who wasn't towing the line with a group. It's sad that people don't give everyone a fair shot, but I know I can't expect people to be as unbiased and critical as a courtroom.

I just don't understand the mentality that it's somehow wrong for someone to debate opinions about a headphone product in a headphone product community. I don't have a right to defend my opinions? Also the accusation of false statements, I just don't understand how it can be said that I gave any false statements about my defense of the headphone. I don't mind if people disagreed with me aboout it, I mind that people were toxic especially the people who are supposed to be unbiased and moderate rules for things like harassment or bad behavior, not headphone opinions. If my opinion was bad, let them state it was bad and leave it alone.

Now yes I pushed some buttons with overspeaking on the topic, but only to defend myself against their accusations. For things unrelated to the headphone topic, I admitted fault. I still think it's toxic behavior on their part.

Also there was no definitive proof about the objectivity of claims, I can't objectively prove that modding the 8xx would make it the same as the 800s or whatever, I only said it was my experience and that I personally recommended it. Why is it wrong to express a recommendation, I'm not a reviewer or license holder, I'm just another audio consumer sharing their beliefs about a product.
