I'm totally unsurprised that a large Discord server based around the following the reviews and impressions of one person will get toxic when encountering an opinion not shared by that person. It's following the rule that the toxicity of a fanbase increases with both age and size.

Look at some of the comments OP responded to and see the ban was entirely justified as he was claiming pretty provably wrong ideas about headphones and sounds overly stubborn about it while he was going to other communities to talk bad about Crinacle’s server to get validation. Childishly also coming here and doing the same to get some karma.
Edit: another great example of their inappropriate behavior is their multiple extremely defensive replies trying to validate themselves even in response to the same reply. Look below and on other replies to this post. Nearly any claim they’ve made that got questioned they will write a paragraph or more. If this is how they acted in the server it even more validates their ban.

I would rather hash it out with people directly in a discussion, but these toxic cringe members on discord don't really believe in that, so one can only defend themselves on another public forum. And my intention isn't just to defend myself, but to expose a wrong and to hold a group with power in a community accountable.

As you stated prior, you went to a server that is created by someone who is known for disagreeing with crinacle. You got banned and directly seeked validation by going to a server you could likely have confidence in assuming their support after getting banned from the discord owned by the guy disliked by their server owner guy. Can you not see the immaturity in that? After seeing other screenshots of how you acted, it’s clear you were pushy with your ideas for no reason at all and were likely looking for validation. Very happy to see mods respect the community enough to remove this post considering how it could affect less informed readers of this subreddit.

Also, many more official and trusted outlets have recommended the 8XX as a consumer product, including other popular headphone reviewers. You could say those people are shilling a product for money, but many of them don't get compensated for the review on this headphone and only gain haters from communities like Crin's. So if you acknowledge this, then please don't accuse me of having wrong ideas about headphones when similar opinions are widely expressed among the community.

What wrong ideas? Why is it wrong to ask other people for validation. What gave you the power to be the sole arbiter of truth about headphones?

I don't know op, you claim differences between copper and silver cables as well as differences when using different sources and you really love the 8xx. You are well within your right to believe these, but why are you then in a highly objective oriented community like crin's?

ok I won't stand by other things I said. the copper silver thing was specifically around using the official Fiio stock silver cables for the Fh7 or Fd7 iems, switched out with a cheaper copper wire from another stock cable of some other iem. I claimed I heard differences in the treble region, no improvements to sound quality.

I only use my headphones with one amp/dac setup, I don't use them with anything else. I was asking people about tube amps, since I was still skeptical on those. I have no idea what these headphones would sound like on anything outside my own setup, but I don't think the amp/dac plays a huge role in sound differences. Crinacle stated that after trying various dac/amp combinations, he didn't hear a difference for the 8xx or at least no improvements, so I don't feel that's a good starting point and trusted his comment on that.
