After i made them go to a store and try proper headphones they started supporting and got themselves proper headphones. Not audiophile level but none of us are audiophiles. I just listen to what sounds good to my ear. Unlike most people I am not after the flattest sound possible. Like cheapaudioman said some artists even approove the final master over car stereo or even a phone.
