They’re tuned basically the same according to crinny’s graphs. Where do they differ?

1990 has a shitton more detail and more customization with the two pairs of pads

Imaging is really solid. Soundstage is decent.

He's exagerating, they're not really that far apart, the dt1990 is built better but i returned mine due to the treble peak.

Not worth the 400€ imo, get the tygr or dt990 600ohm (toilet paper mod recommended) and be happy

They definitely sound different. The Tygr sound warm and DT1990 sound bright.
