I used to own a TFZ Secret Garden 3... Sound quality lost to a KZ Zs10 Pro which cost 10% of my TFZ SG3's.

Never bought another TFZ IEM after that , the scar was deep

I had the T2 Galaxy and they were actually quite good, just really bassy. I remember hearing that the No. 3 was actually pretty good back in the day as well. Dunno if it still holds up or not though.

haven't used my No.3s in a while now but they're definitely great - really easy to drive, fit my ears really well, V-shaped sound with a strong DD bass but clean and not bloated, highs can get a bit piercing.

honestly my s12 pro and no.3 sound very very similar, with the no.3 fit being a bit better, so I'd say they're still a great set in today's market

had both the KZ ZSX Pro and TFZ No.3 around the same time and the No.3 are so much better, and the price difference back then was only about x2, which made me less likely to try another KZ set

Here's a suggested EQ. This basically cuts the mid-bass to improve clarity (leaving the sub-bass) and smooths over the upper mids.

The smoothing over the upper mids in particular on these is based on my own set, some measurements like Crinacle's don't seem to line up so well but others like MRS line up better. If you listen for the peaks and dips, you could customize. This maybe just helps a little for me if the upper mids get harsh.

If it sounds off you could just try one filter, and less, say 200Hz -3dB Q0.7. This just cuts the midbass a BIT but not entirely. It's a little boomy stock.

You may well just like them stock either, that's fine too.

These do have great bass.

On PC, Equalizer APO / Peace.

On Android, either Poweramp EQ or Wavelet. With the latter, you put the EQ into a site like squig.link and then "Export to Wavelet".
