Might take a bit of digging. I could find the 75s, but somehow not the 40s over here (europe can suck a bit to find headphones sometimes). But the us amazon usually comes through anyway.

Honestly, if it makes him happy, budget doesn't matter. I already spend too much on my hobbies anyway (shop had a nice discount on the moondrop variations...I had to), so if I can find them, worth it. Or just order the 30i from Drop. The 75s might not be hist cup of tea with the clip on.

Thanks for the suggestion, always happy to look into new headphones I don't know much about :) Only found the Grado cause I was looking for dedicated audiobook cans myself

The Grados are sweet. Glad you got plenty of pads for them. The originals can cause a bit of discomfort after a while.

My thought for the Koss phones was simply comfort and portability. Why not have something super light and portable. If your old man laying in bed, the Grados may have a tendency to slip off due to their weight, plus the cable being a bit clunky and stiff. Or they may be completely fine… But for 30(ish) bucks I highly recommend getting some. Why not hey?

The 30i’s would be just as good as any of the aforementioned Koss Cans. I put the “Geekria” Comfort Foam Pads on mine and they are super cosy.

yep, most of the pads I got are Geekria too, as is the case. ;)

Welp, needed something from Drop anyway, gonna throw in some 30i. :)
